Two Fish 'N' A Scoop Review
Brilliant acting, Kiwi as

Fish and chip shops: Kiwi as, they're often owned and run by immigrants.
When student Jason gets a job in Mr Chan's shop he wastes little time, despite an express prohibition, in falling in love with smart, brave Rhea, his co-worker and Chan's daughter.
What happens next is affected by Rhea's parents - her Chinese father clinging to ambition while enduring incomprehension and racism; her mother, a New Zealander of European descent, succumbing to heartbreak and doughnuts. For full review, Click here

I can’t thank you enough for the warm and welcomed response to RED. I have had many a written note of thanks make its way to my desk.
As we farewell John Bach and Cameron Douglas and their remarkable performances we welcome actors Chris Parker and Hweiling Ow, newcomers to Fortune Theatre.
Director Patrick Davies is working them hard in this very rigorous, moving and funny two-hander, Two Fish ‘N’ A Scoop, by New Zealand writer Carl Nixon.
Chris Parker and Hweiling Ow play all sixteen characters. I encourage you to take a glimpse at them on our show trailer which is now posted on our website, Facebook page and the ODT webpage. For those of you who aren’t aware we produce show trailers for each of our shows. Similar to movie trailers if you will. Miguel Nitis our Marketing Assistant (and budding film maker) does an exceptional job of filming and editing these. We started them last year back on The Tutor and have subsequently made ones for each show since.
When Two Fish ‘N’A Scoop finishes its Dunedin season it will also embark on a two week tour of Otago and Southland districts. Check our website for details.
Another date to mark in the diary is The Two Fish ‘N’A Scoop Members Briefing at 3pm on Sunday 20 May. Writer Carl Nixon will be there to meet with you, talk about the play and answer any questions you may have for him. This is a FREE opportunity to talk directly with one of New Zealand’s most popular writer/playwrights.
Young, Wild and Fortunate have leapt upon us. They are nearly SOLD OUT so be sure to snap up the last of the tickets going now for their four performances 20/21 May, 27/28 May 7.30pm in the Fortune Studio.
Our continued thanks to all our members for your on-going support. You have contributed to making this a truly vibrant year.
See you at the chip shop.
