Welcome to 2013. What a start! The theatre has opened its doors to Taki Rua – Aotearoa/New Zealand’s National Maori Theatre Company – and their production of John Broughton’s Michael James Mania. This is an exclusive two-week season, so book now!
We are eternally grateful to our Friends of the Fortune members who are the principal supporters of this show, and in their ever humble way refuse to take any credit for it. Well too bad…you’re all amazing, and we cannot thank you enough.
I am also thrilled to see the Members that are discovering the benefits of our subscription offer. As you know, we introduced this in 2011 with a modest goal of attracting 50 subscribers to the theatre. Last year we embraced 177 subscribers, and this year already Maureen in box office is having trouble keeping up with the demand. My sincere thanks to you for engaging as a subscriber. This ensures a committed audience ahead of time, a gauge for us as to what shows appeal to our patrons, and we love being able to mail your tickets in advance, and guarantee you the best seats possible.
